Overheard at the Howling Hog

The barley farmer wants a word with whoever trains on the clouds. Every morning a giantess goes leaping from one to the next, and every landing shakes loose a bit of rain. Last week she missed one and left a crater where his barley used to be. He'll pay whoever climbs up and asks her to practice elsewhere.

Use it as

  • A cloud giant monk or wizard PC who fights with a staff
  • A sky giant who might carry the party up, if asked politely
  • A sparring partner who doesn't know her own strength

DM tip

Let her leap anywhere on the map once per round. Players can't flank someone who lands behind them, so they'll have to guard each other's backs.
