Assembly tips
  • File or scrape off any flash, the thin bits left over from casting.
  • If the tab sits loose in the base slot, bend it into a shallow V so it wedges in, then add a drop of superglue.
  • Fill any gaps with putty or basing sand before you prime.

Overheard at the Howling Hog

Our rule for the dwarf in the back room: nobody wakes him by the shoulder. The last fella who tried had one war pick hooked over his collar and the other under his chin. He tied that cloth band on the night his lord's hall fell. It stays on until somebody tells him who opened the gate.

Use it as

  • A sellsword who guards the party's camp and only asks for news about the gate
  • The last guard of a fallen hall, still holding it against all comers

DM tip

He's posed mid-guard with one pick high and one low, so he reads well as a door guard. Stand him in a doorway and make the party talk their way past.
