Assembly tips
- File or scrape off any flash, the thin bits left over from casting.
- If the tab sits loose in the base slot, bend it into a shallow V so it wedges in, then add a drop of superglue.
- Fill any gaps with putty or basing sand before you prime.

Entered in the watch book against the curly-headed slinger: one wasp nest dropped on the reeve, and three crows chased out of the barley. He says the wasps were an accident. The reeve doesn't. He's paying the lad to deal with the goblins upstream anyway, mostly to get him out of town.
