Overheard at the Howling Hog

Entered in the watch book against the curly-headed slinger: one wasp nest dropped on the reeve, and three crows chased out of the barley. He says the wasps were an accident. The reeve doesn't. He's paying the lad to deal with the goblins upstream anyway, mostly to get him out of town.

DM tip

When he attacks from cover, describe the whistle of the stone before it hits. The players learn to fear every hedge, and so do the crows.
