Assembly tips
- File or scrape off any flash, the thin bits left over from casting.
- If the tab sits loose in the base slot, bend it into a shallow V so it wedges in, then add a drop of superglue.
- Fill any gaps with putty or basing sand before you prime.

Overheard at the Howling Hog
Nobody knows what's sewn on his banner. It's wound so tight you can only see the forked tail, and he says unfurling it indoors is bad luck. A rider came through asking after a lost company that marched under a forked flag. He left a purse for whoever gets that banner open.
Use it as
- A halfling soldier or scout PC who never lets the colors drop
- The last standard-bearer of a lost company
- A bannerman rallying the enemy's halfling levy
DM tip
Decide what's on the banner before the session and keep it secret. Whoever finally sees it unfurled gets a clue to where his old company went.
