Assembly tips
- File or scrape off any flash, the thin bits left over from casting.
- If the tab sits loose in the base slot, bend it into a shallow V so it wedges in, then add a drop of superglue.
- Fill any gaps with putty or basing sand before you prime.

Overheard at the Howling Hog
Every dog in the lane follows her home. It started as a prank on the dog catcher, three notes on her flute, and now she can't make them stop, or the miller's geese. She's offering her whole savings, four coppers and a button, for the tune that sends them back.
Use it as
- A young elf bard in training who's still learning which tunes are safe
- A runaway princess hiding as a street musician
- A child who can call animals and needs the party's protection
DM tip
Give her flute one real power. Once a session she can call every small animal nearby, and you decide what else heard the tune.
