Overheard at the Howling Hog

I'll own it: I sold her the crystal. A tall woman of bark and planks came in out of the rain and paid for the shard in seeds. By morning there was a new grove where the burned wood used to be. I'd like to know what else it can grow. So would the lumber guild.

Use it as

  • A tree-folk druid or shaman PC who carries a crystal that grows things
  • A forest guardian who regrows whatever the loggers cut
  • A wild elemental the lumber guild hires the party to stop

DM tip

Each time she uses the crystal, add a small tree or bush to the map. By the end of a long fight the room's half forest.
