Overheard at the Howling Hog

The cook's prices for game this season: hare, four copper, a brace of ducks, nine, and boar, two silver a carcass. One hunter's brought a boar in, and he's eaten free for a week. There's a bigger one in the oak wood that's thrown three hunters. She'll pay ten silver for that one.

Use it as

  • A trophy for a hunter or ranger PC to carry home
  • Camp scenery: tonight's dinner, before anyone's cooked it
  • A quest item: the cook's paying by the boar, tusks extra

DM tip

It's sculpted to drape over a mini. Hang it on whoever lands the killing blow in a hunt, and they carry supper home.
