Assembly tips
- File or scrape off any flash, the thin bits left over from casting.
- If the tab sits loose in the base slot, bend it into a shallow V so it wedges in, then add a drop of superglue.
- Fill any gaps with putty or basing sand before you prime.

Overheard at the Howling Hog
He stood guard at one door in the old palace for forty years and never once asked what was behind it. The palace fell. The door's still standing. He walks out every evening to stand his watch, and last night he came back early, very quiet. The handle turned, he says. From the other side.
Use it as
- An elf paladin or warrior PC sworn to guard one thing forever
- A palace guard who won't let anyone through, even now
- A priest-knight who knows what's behind the door and won't say
DM tip
Use him as a gatekeeper the party can't beat by force. They have to learn what he's guarding, and why, before he'll step aside.
