Assembly tips
- File or scrape off any flash, the thin bits left over from casting.
- If the tab sits loose in the base slot, bend it into a shallow V so it wedges in, then add a drop of superglue.
- Fill any gaps with putty or basing sand before you prime.

Overheard at the Howling Hog
Count of shields she's split since the thaw: eleven, plus the old sign out front, which she says looked like a shield from the road. A merchant up the valley says his new tower shield can't be broken. She wants a ride out there, and he's hiring a bodyguard.
Use it as
- A dwarf barbarian or fighter PC who ends shield walls
- A hired wrecker the party brings along to a siege
- The tournament champion every knight hopes to avoid in the draw
DM tip
Make her the answer to shield walls. When she hits a foe carrying a shield, the shield breaks, and that foe loses its bonus for the rest of the fight.
