Librarian

Just as in the real world, librarians are usually witches or wizards. The silence in which they cloak themselves gives them power over lesser folk. In that silence they can hear the ancient whisperings of forgotten sages. Surprisingly, they often seek to share this power, imparting it to the young and corrupting their vulnerable minds with arcane secrets.
