Dagger

Characters that choose daggers as their primary weapons shouldn't be trusted, especially if you've ever heard their controlling player use the phrase "It's what my character would do." That being said, a light weapon that can be thrown, used for close combat, and easily smuggled into a fancy party should definitely be in every adventurer's inventory.
