Cloth

Cloth is a designation given to adventuring clothing that offers little to no inherent physical protection. That's not to say that the Witches' dress or the conjurer's cape can't have an enchantment that protects the wearer from getting stabbed though! Cloth-based apparel is also usually lighter and more comfortable than leather or metal armor, so it appeals to the lazier classes like Wizards and Mages.
