Overheard at the Howling Hog
Dockhands have thirty silver riding on whether the little swordsman with the drooping mustache can throw that maple blade over the river and have it whirl back like a seed off the tree. That's its claim, anyway. Nobody's ever seen it let go. Talk it into one throw and they'll split the pool with you.
DM tip
If it ever does throw the maple blade, roll a d6. On a 4 or better the blade comes spinning back, and on a 1 it lodges in the nearest tree.
