Overheard at the Howling Hog
Cuts stone at the quarry by day and never touches a pick. He holds one hand open over the rock face and the crystals work themselves loose. A broken shackle still hangs off one wrist, and he won't let the smith cut it away. He'd quietly pay to know where whoever chained him is now.

Let him reshape one bit of rock per scene: a handhold, a sealed door, a pillar of cover. Every use makes his chain clink, and the sound carries.
