Overheard at the Howling Hog
Days, he reads the sky for the harbor master from the sea wall, that hook-headed staff held across him like a boat pole. Nights, he reads it for himself, and lately he's been buying rope and dried fish by the barrel. Whatever he saw up there has him packing. Somebody should ask what.
DM tip
Write one vague omen before each session and have him say it. Make one of them come true every few sessions.
