Overheard at the Howling Hog

Rolled up at his side is a leaf he carried in, and he'll unroll it for nobody but the owner of the cellar under the old mill. The little ones in the orchard won't last the frost, it says, and the frost's coming early. The miller says that cellar isn't his. Then whose is it?

DM tip

Make him the party's mailbox from the woods. Every message from the forest arrives rolled up in his leaf, so they'll learn to dread seeing him.
