Overheard at the Howling Hog

Four shields hang over the bar, and only the one with the tankard on the front is ours. A dwarf shield wall left the other three the night before they marched, and said they'd collect them on the way home. That was two winters back. We still dust them. Their captain's widow pays for any news.

DM tip

Glue the same shield onto several minis and they read as one unit. The players will see at a glance who's on whose side.
