Overheard at the Howling Hog

Each morning he reads the weather out of that huge book for the farmers, and he's right about half the time, which beats the almanac. After dark he goes looking for a page somebody tore out, the one with next week on it. He pays well for any scrap with writing on it.

DM tip

Tear a page out of a notebook and write half a clue on it. Hand it over when the party finds the missing page, and let them guess the rest.
