Overheard at the Howling Hog
Some nights a small figure sits at the end of the bar, wrapped in its hooded cloak so all you can see is two eyes. It never orders, and the stool's cold after it leaves. Three regulars have followed it out the back. All three came home, and all three now set an extra place at supper.
DM tip
Never reveal what's under the hood. Give each player who asks a different answer, and keep track of who heard what.
