The clockmaker says the watch on that chain runs backward on moonless nights, and he'd know, since it's his watch and the half-orc never paid for it. He wants it back. Whoever gets it will find out what it's counting down to. By his reckoning, there's about a week left.

DM tip

Give his watch a countdown. Tell the players it reads twelve, take one tick off each session, and decide what happens at zero before they do.
