Overheard at the Howling Hog

Wanted: two guards for the wool run to Hobhaven, leaving Monday. The merchant rides that shaggy pony with his pipe held high so the smoke stays out of its mane, and he talks the whole way. Pay's fair. The last two guards quit at the ford, and neither will say what they saw in the reeds.

DM tip

Run the wool run as a road trip. He tells one long story a day, and one detail in each is a real clue about what's waiting at the ford.
