Overheard at the Howling Hog
Lightning struck the square twice on a clear night, says the lamplighter. It was her, arms flung up, a jagged arc crackling between her hands, practicing on the town pump. The pump glowed for an hour after. She's paying whoever finds her an empty field where nobody minds the noise.
DM tip
Give her one big spell per fight that hits everything in a line. Lay a ruler on the table when she casts it so the players see what's in the way.
