Hire him for your feast and you'll get the best stew in the valley and a dagger he says is for onions. The last two hosts who hired him each lost a guest before dessert. Nobody's proved a thing. The duke's booked him for the harvest supper, and the food taster quit this morning.
DM tip
Serve the party a meal from him early on. Later, when a noble drops at dinner, they'll remember who cooked and who handed out the bread.
