Overheard at the Howling Hog

Odds in the militia's sparring yard this week are three to one she puts you on your back before you see her move. Shield or sword, nobody's worked out which hits first. Her sergeant's put up a silver pin for anyone who lasts a count of ten. Six years on, nobody's claimed it.

DM tip

Give her shield a job. Once per fight she can step in front of an ally and take the hit meant for them, and players love being saved by the smallest one there.
