Overheard at the Howling Hog

Eel-catchers keep seeing a heron the size of a pony, an elf on its back waving a flare gun like he's lost. He is. The Nomads of the Great Veldt headed out ahead of a storm last spring, and nobody else from that crew has turned up. Point him home and he'll fly you anywhere.

DM tip

He's a big model, so give him the high ground. He flies over walls and water, and each flare he fires strips cover from everyone below for a round.
