Overheard at the Howling Hog
Every scarf she sells has one dropped stitch, on purpose, so she'll know it again. She's sold forty since the first frost. Three have come back to town on strangers who say they bought them over the mountains, from her, last week. She hasn't left town all year. Somebody should go ask.
DM tip
Hand the party one of her scarves early. Later, when a stranger turns up in an identical one, they'll know someone's been on their trail.
